What's inside

Everything Learn covers.

Courses

Lessons, videos, and readings come together in one place, and a guided builder walks you from rough outline to published course. Teach what your church actually needs, from baptism class to leadership training. Each lesson mixes written teaching, video, and files from your media library, and a course stays in draft until you publish it, so nobody sees half-finished material. Step away mid-build and the draft is waiting when you come back.

  • Guided builder. A wizard carries you from course details through content and learners to publish, and your draft survives if you leave partway.
  • Lesson blocks. Mix written teaching, video, and files from your media library inside a single lesson.
  • Publish when ready. A course stays hidden in draft until you publish, and archiving retires it without erasing anyone's record.

Cohorts

Move a group through the material together, so nobody studies alone. Enroll learners one at a time, or point the cohort at a group or a segment and the roster fills itself. Leaders see exactly where each person is, lesson by lesson, and can nudge things along: advance someone, mark them complete, or quietly remove a name that should not be there. You see who is keeping pace and who needs a check-in before next week.

  • Enroll from anywhere. Add learners by person, by group, or by segment, and the roster fills from there.
  • Progress in view. Every learner shows lesson-by-lesson progress, from invited through completed to certified.
  • Leader actions. Advance a learner, mark them complete, or unenroll them while the course is still in motion.

Quizzes

Multiple choice and true or false questions grade themselves the moment they are submitted, so instructors spend their evenings teaching, not marking; short answer questions wait for an instructor's read. Set the passing score, and cap attempts if you want a real bar to clear. When writing questions feels like the slow part, ask AI to draft a quiz from the lesson itself, then review and tweak every question before anyone sees it. Members see every score in Eden the moment it lands.

  • Question types. Multiple choice, true or false, and short answer, mixed freely in one quiz.
  • Pass marks and attempts. Set the passing score for each quiz and cap how many attempts a learner gets.
  • AI question drafts. Pick a lesson, choose how many questions and how hard, and review every drafted question before saving.

Certificates

Finish the work, receive the certificate. Start from ready-made presets, baptism, membership, discipleship and more, or design your own template with your artwork, your wording, and a line left open for a real signature. Issue certificates automatically the moment a course is completed, or hold each one for approval first. Every certificate carries its own verification code, and once a course starts issuing, the template locks so every learner's certificate stays consistent.

  • Ready-made presets. Membership, baptism, discipleship, marriage preparation, and more, each styled and ready to use.
  • Template designer. Lay your church's name, the learner's name, and the date over your own artwork, with fonts to match the occasion.
  • Automatic or approved. Issue the moment a course completes, or hold each certificate for a person to approve.

Member learning

Members take courses in the Eden app they already carry, on the couch or on the bus. A course opened after service on Sunday can be picked up on Tuesday night: progress saves as they watch, and the course reopens at the next unfinished lesson. Quizzes are taken right in the app, finished certificates wait there to be downloaded, and the ratings members leave flow back to you, so you know which courses actually land.

  • Progress that follows. Lessons save as members watch, and the course reopens at the next unfinished lesson.
  • Certificates in the app. Issued certificates sit in Eden, ready to view and download.
  • Ratings flow back. Members rate lessons and instructors, and the reviews land on the course for your team to read.

Automations and AI

Configure it once and Learn keeps things moving: certificates go out the moment a course is finished, and completing one course can enroll someone in the next cohort, start a follow-up, or tell the right leader. Describe what you want in plain language and Cendance builds the automation for you; start from a template when you would rather not start from scratch.

  • Plain language. Say what should happen and the automation is drafted for you.
  • Templates. Common patterns, ready to switch on and adapt.
  • Across the suite. Triggers and actions reach across the Cendance suite, not just Learn.

Questions

Asked and answered.

How do we get started with Learn?

Create a course in the guided builder: name it, add lessons from material you already have, whether written teaching, video, or files, and publish when it is ready. Nothing is visible to learners until you publish, so you can build at your own pace.

What do members see when we assign them a course?

Courses appear in the Eden member app, where members work through lessons, take quizzes, and download their certificates. Progress saves lesson by lesson, so a course started on one day can be picked up on another, reopening at the next unfinished lesson.

Who can see learners' progress and scores?

Access is deny-by-default: staff see only what their role grants, so quiz scores and progress stay with the people responsible for learning. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and our security practices and compliance program are documented on the trust page.

What does Learn cost?

Learn comes with a paid Cendance plan. Start free with People, add Learn when you are ready, and the pricing page has the details.

Do automations cost extra?

No. Cendance Flow, the automation layer, is included. Describe the automation you want in plain language or start from a template, and it runs across Learn and every other product you use.
