CendanceShop

Sell products and fulfill orders in one place.

Online storefronts for merch, resources, and café orders: products with sizes and add-ons, guest checkout, pickup or delivery, digital downloads, and every sale settled into the fund you choose. Shop money stays out of your giving records from the first order.

Built for youth, communications, bookstore, and café teams.

Everything Shop covers.

Storefronts

A storefront is one store page with its own name, cover, description, and link. Open one for the youth trip drop, one for the bookstore, one for the Sunday café, and each sells into the fund you choose, so proceeds land where they belong without a spreadsheet. Share the link in the bulletin, the group chat, or the slide before service. When the drop is over, close the store and the link says so.

  • One link to share. Every storefront has a public page that works without an account.
  • Tied to a fund. Choose the fund at setup and every sale is attributed to it as it settles.
  • Open and close on your schedule. Publish once payouts are set up, then close a store when the window ends and reopen it next season.

Products with sizes and add-ons

A product carries its photos, price, and description, and then whatever makes it real: sizes and colors as options with their own stock and per-order limits, and add-ons that price themselves, like a gift box for three dollars more. Decide which options each storefront sells, group products into categories shoppers can filter, and mark something sold out without taking it down.

  • Sizes and options. Each option has its own stock count and minimum or maximum per order.
  • Add-ons that price themselves. Optional extras add to the line, with rules for how many a shopper can choose.
  • Per-store selection. Sell the same product in several stores and choose which options each one offers.

Digital downloads

Sell the study guide, the worship album, or the conference recordings as files instead of forwarding them from an inbox. Upload up to five files to a product, and the moment a purchase is paid the receipt email carries the download links. Each link works a limited number of times, you can set them to expire after a number of days, and a refund closes them, so the file stays with the person who bought it.

  • Delivered with the receipt. Links arrive by email the moment payment goes through, with nothing to ship.
  • Limits you choose. A fixed number of downloads per link, and an optional expiry in days.
  • Closed on refund. Refund the order and its download links stop working.

Orders, pickup, and delivery

Shoppers pay by card on the store page, choose pickup at a location you set up, such as the welcome desk, or delivery when you offer it, and get a receipt with the details. Your orders list shows every purchase with its buyer, items, and status, filters by storefront, status, or pickup location, and exports for the volunteer at the table. Move an order to fulfilling, then mark it picked up or delivered, and cancel or refund in full when plans change.

  • Pickup or delivery. Add pickup locations with instructions and switch delivery on or off per storefront.
  • Fulfillment in two taps. Start fulfilling, then mark an order picked up, delivered, or completed.
  • Cancel and refund in full. A refund reverses the payment, restocks the items, and closes any downloads.

Money, fees, and reports

Payments settle through Stripe into your organization's own account, and every sale is attributed to the storefront's fund the moment it is paid, as sales, never as gifts. Decide per storefront whether you absorb the small platform fee or pass it on to shoppers, and turn on Stripe Tax if your organization collects sales tax. Reports show revenue, orders, customers, and units for any date range, with the sales trend and your top products, options, and customers.

  • Settled into a fund. Sales show up in the fund's activity beside its other income, separate from giving.
  • Fees your way. Absorb the platform fee or add it to the shopper's total, storefront by storefront.
  • Reports by date range. Revenue, orders, customers, units, and top sellers for the period you choose.

Automations and AI

Configure it once and the follow-through runs itself: describe the automation you want in plain language and Cendance builds it for you, or start from a template when you would rather not begin with a blank page. Orders are events like everything else in the suite, so a paid order can open a packing task, a pickup can send a thank-you, and a refund can let the treasurer know, the moment each one happens.

  • Plain language. Say what should happen and the automation is drafted for you.
  • Templates. Common patterns, ready to switch on and adapt.
  • Across the suite. Triggers and actions span the Cendance suite: orders, forms, giving, groups, tasks, and more.

More you can do with Shop.

Customers become People

Guest buyers are matched to their profile by email, or added as new people, with a switch per storefront.

Your own thank-you email

Write the subject and note shoppers receive after their receipt: what is inside, when to collect, who to ask.

Fees your way

Absorb the per-sale platform fee or pass it on to shoppers, decided storefront by storefront.

Categories

Group a storefront's products into sections shoppers can filter, such as Merch, Books, and Drinks.

Store policies

Publish returns, pickup, and delivery policies on their own page, linked from the store.

Refunds and swaps

Refund an order in full, or swap a size on a paid order without touching the payment.

Asked and answered.

Where does the money go?

Each storefront sells into a fund you choose, and payments settle through Stripe to your organization's own account. Sales appear in that fund's activity as sales, never as gifts, so they stay off giving statements and tax receipts. A refund is handled on the order itself.

Do shoppers need an account?

No. Your store is a public page you can link from anywhere. A shopper picks their items, pays with a card, and gets a receipt by email. If they are already in People, the order is matched to their profile by email; if they are new, you decide whether they are added.

How are digital products delivered?

Upload the files to the product. When a purchase is paid, the receipt email carries the download links. Each link works a limited number of times, you can set the links to expire after a number of days, and a refund closes them.

What about sales tax?

Turn on Stripe Tax from the Sales tax page and tax is calculated at checkout based on where the shopper is and what they are buying. Organizations that do not collect sales tax can leave it off.

What does Shop cost?

Shop comes with a paid Cendance plan, plus a 1.35% platform fee on each sale that you can absorb or pass on to the shopper. Start free with People, add Shop when you are ready, and the pricing page has the details.

Do automations cost extra?

No. Cendance Flow, the automation layer, is included. Describe the automation you want in plain language or start from a template, and it runs across Shop and every other product you use.
